Whether you have small children, are in search of adrenaline-rush thrills, love nature, shopping or world-class golf, there's no shortage of things to do in Orlando! Our vacation homes are located in the heart of the theme park/attractions area of Orlando, convenient to all of the action! Read our descriptions of all the best things to do below, with tips, tricks, and info you won't find anywhere else!

Water Parks: Orlando is home to three great water parks we're sure you'll enjoy: Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Wet 'n Wild. Ron John Surf Park is a brand new addition, but is geared toward those with an interest in surfing.

  • Disney's Blizzard Beach: If you have children ages 5 and over, this is probably the best water park for you. Blizzard Beach features some great innertube rides and slides that are great for anyone over 5 years old, including adults, but has fewer rides suitable for small children although there is a separate play area for toddlers and young children. For those who just want to lounge, there is a lazy river that runs around the perimeter of the park, in which guests can float on innertubes.

  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon: Typhoon Lagoon is set in a tropical Polynesian theme, and has lots of great rides and slides for the whole family. This water park even has a tropical coral reef that you can swim through, and they provide a wetsuit vest and sanitized snorkeling gear, all at no extra cost! The main pool located in the center of the park has a wave machine that creates 5-foot waves every few minutes. The park also has a lazy river for those who just want to relax, which runs around the perimeter of the park.

  • Wet 'n Wild: Wet 'n Wild is the wildest water park of the three, ideal for those with older children who will love the thrilling water slides. This park is owned by Universal, and combination tickets may be available at a discount if you are planning to visit both Universal Orlando and Wet 'n Wild.

  • Rom John Surf Park: Opened in September of 2006, this park features a giant wave pool that guests can surf on, as well as surfing lessons for the inexperienced surfer. Unfortunately we haven't been yet, so that's about all we know!
