Whether you have small children, are in search of adrenaline-rush thrills, love nature, shopping or world-class golf, there's no shortage of things to do in Orlando! Our vacation homes are located in the heart of the theme park/attractions area of Orlando, convenient to all of the action! Read our descriptions of all the best things to do below, with tips, tricks, and info you won't find anywhere else!

Shopping: From world-class shopping to flea markets, Orlando's full of great places to shop.

  • Two malls might be of interest to travelers in the Central Florida area- the Mall at Millenia and the Florida Mall, both located in the Universal/International Drive area and are easy to get to.

This is Central Florida's most upscale shopping venue. Anchor stores include Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, and Macy's. Inside the mall you'll find Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Christian Dior, Jimmy Choo, St. John, Burberry, and other high-end boutiques, as well as all of the typical stores you'd expect such as the Gap, Crate and Barrel, J. Crew and Zara.

The Florida Mall is slightly bigger than the others in the area, and features anchor stores Nordstrom's, Sears, Lord and Taylor, Macy's and others. This mall is home to Sephora, a giant Old Navy, and a new M&M World!

  • Outlets: While in the area, you may see various shops masquerading as 'Outlets,' but there are only three that are truly worth visiting.

The most notable outlet center is the Premier Factory Outlets, were you'll find outlet stores by Polo, Banana Republic, Nike, Adidas, Coach, Burberry, Tommy Hillfiger, Barney's of New York, Gap, Calvin Klein, BCBG, Escada, and many other high-end designers.

Second on your list should be the Belz Factory Outlets, which were just renamed the 'Prime Factory Outlets,' and is currently undergoing renovation on a large part of its stores. Here you'll find all of the stores you would normally expect, such as Hagar, Liz Claiborne, Playtex/Haynes/Bali, plus a few notable outlets such as Off Fifth, the Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet, DKNY, Polo, Nine West, Coach, Adidas, and Ann Taylor Loft Outlets.

Lastly and the smallest, the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets are the closest to the Disney area, and feature stores such as Gap. Nine West, Liz Claiborne, and Leggs/Haynes/Bali.

  • Flea Markets: Don't get fooled into visiting the Osceola Flea Market. If you're into Flea Markets, there are only two worth your time and money, but both are located about an hour's drive from the Disney area.

Renninge's: This Flea Market has been featured on numerous TV shows because it's a flea marketers dream! Renninger's is open year round on the weekends, and you can typically get a great selection at any time. However, every third weekend of the month this flea market features double the vendors, so try and catch it then if you can. On the third weekends of January, February, and November, the flea market explodes into a massive array of vendors, who bring their wares from all over the world for the event.

Webster: The Webster Flea Market, located in Webster, Florida, is only open on Mondays until 3:00 in the afternoon, and is much smaller than Renninger's but will still delight antique collectors.
