Whether you have small children, are in search of adrenaline-rush thrills, love nature, shopping or world-class golf, there’s no shortage of things to do in Orlando! Our vacation homes are located in the heart of the theme park/attractions area of Orlando, convenient to all of the action! Read our descriptions of all the best things to do below, with tips, tricks, and info you won’t find anywhere else!

Nature: Florida has so much to offer in the way of nature. Check out our top picks below!

  • Tubing/Canoeing/Kayaking: Wekiwa Springs State Park and Blue Springs State Park are both within a 60-70 minute drive from Orlando, and both parks offer swimming, canoeing, and kayaking in gorgeous, crystal clear springs and rivers. If you’re willing to drive about 2 hours, you can go floating down the Ichetucknee River in an innertube, which is located just north of Gainesville near High Springs.

  • Wildlife: Crystal River Manatee Tour and Dive offers scuba diving and snorkeling, swimming with manatees, wildlife identification trips, and tours on airboat. They even offer deep sea fishing trips! Check them out at www.manateetourusa.com.

  • Hiking: The Nature Conservancy's Disney Wilderness Preserve is a remarkable place for nature lovers of all ages and interests. The preserve is home to hundreds of wildlife species and is bordered by one of the last remaining undeveloped lakes in central Florida. A 1-mile trail, 3-mile hiking trail and off-road buggy tours are available to visitors who want to learn about the preserve’s resident plants and animals and the Conservancy’s efforts to restore and protect them.
